The Neyander : A ‘Vina’ Border Runner

A female Neyander who appears to be a Border Runner. Neyanders that are the result of cross-breeding in either the near or distant past are honoured within their clan for their extra skills and abilities that the pure may not possess. Border Runners for the past few hundred years have actively protected their land from incursions by Lowlanders seeking to steal their mineral wealth. The ‘Vina’ as cross-breeds are named, retain the stocky and short appearance, large heads and darker skin of their kind whilst being slimmer, longer limbed and possessed with eyesight akin to their non-Neyander ancestors. Is is the ‘Vina’ amongst the Clans that will often come into contact with the Lowlanders as their vocations away from the Mines often cause them to communicate and interact with those from the Ilanthor region.
